AGC celebrated Teachers’ Day

The Amritsar Group of Colleges celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm to honour the birth anniversary of the revered educator, philosopher, and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The event served as a heartfelt acknowledgment of Dr. Radhakrishnan's legacy and a sincere tribute to the invaluable contribution of teachers to society.

The celebration included a variety of performances, sharing of experiences, and a fun-filled game of tambola. All the teachers cherished these moments of celebration with full zeal and enthusiasm. The event created a warm and joyous atmosphere, allowing educators to come together in appreciation of their vital roles. Subsequently, each teacher was presented with a plant to honor their nurturing spirit and lasting impact.

Dr. Rajneesh Arora, Managing Director, AGC, remarked, "Teachers are the true architects of a progressive society, shaping the minds and futures of generations to come."

Dr. Gaurav Tejpal, Principal, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of education in the current scenario. He stressed the indispensable role of teachers in nurturing the next generation and developing the love for learning.
