The Amritsar Group of Colleges celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm to honour the birth anniversary of the revered educator, philosopher, and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Ranganathan, the father of library science in India. This exhibition showcased a diverse collection of books across various genres, aiming to inspire students to develop a love for reading and expand their literary horizons. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the entire campus community, with over 2000 students from various departments, faculty and staff members visiting the exhibition. Short Term Training Progamme on “Employment Skills in the Industry” @ AGC

  The Department of Management Studies at Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC), Amritsar, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development and Industrial Coordination Department (EDIC) of NITTTR, Chandigarh, conducted a Five-day Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on ‘Employment Skills in the Industry’ from August 5 to 9, 2024. Dr. S.K. Dhameja from NITTTR, Chandigarh, served as the primary coordinator. The event featured resource persons from various esteemed institutes and industries, including NITTTR Chandigarh, Jio Mumbai, Matins Pharma, Communication Coach and Corporate Trainer Panchkula, Diversity Arc Business Consulting Zirakpur, and Swaraj Mazda Limited (SML-ISUZU). The programme attracted around 200 faculty members from prestigious institutes nationwide.
